Blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay

This Champagne created by Samuel Roguet is a " one shot " of 650 numbered bottles.
Samuel, like all Champagne winegrowers, found 2008 a truly exceptional year, of a quality that a winegrower rarely sees in his life. At this time, he put some of his best beautiful juices "aside" in oak barrels. And every year he tasted them. It was so good! In 2014, he blended his wines with his oenologist, and racked them.
The idea germinated to make it THE exceptional cuvée for 2020 and 3 important anniversaries, the 150 years of Maison Roguet, the 40 years of Samuel and his 20 years at the head of this beautiful house of Mailly-Champagne. What nobody knew at the time is that in addition, it would be the arrival of his daughter.
Samuel doesn't do things like everyone else. He is a passionate craftsman. For the visuals too. He therefore imposed labels, cases, etc. on the designer. of this brew to wait until it is near, so that everything is in adequacy.
Here is what Roguet say:
Have you ever come across the taste exception? This tasty note that remains anchored in you, this moment of delight that electrifies you ... In the Champagne region, we call it a vintage. A prestigious cuvée, fruit of an exceptional harvest.
From Mémoire de vignerons, 2008 is an unforgettable year of very high quality, and without a doubt one of the greatest years in our history.
The elixir of this harvest Samuel Roguet sublimated it in a limited edition, 650 champenoises, and not one more ... intended for a privileged few. All in the most eccentric of our bottles.
To obtain this extraordinary cuvée, 12 years of patience will have been necessary. It all started in September 2008, with a high quality manual harvest. At the time, the Roguets already decided to select part of their harvest, that of their finest plots, with the hope of achieving this long-awaited vintage. A choice which bears fruit, since Samuel conceives the following year a first edition composed of 3 grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.
